The Synthetic Turf Council (STC) will be holding its 2014 Annual Membership Meeting Sept. 29 through Oct. 1 at the Hilton Palacio del Rio in the famous River Walk section of San Antonio. The national nonprofit association’s meeting will include a keynote address from ITR Economics CEO Brian Beaulieu, critical research updates, a “new and improved” Exhibitor Showcase, educational programs and the dedication of a soccer field to a local shelter for the homeless.
Beaulieu will present an executive briefing on the economic outlook for the U.S. synthetic turf industry and the global economy.
The Exhibitor Showcase will feature products, services and advancements of STC members, including synthetic turf manufacturers, testing labs, component suppliers, maintenance equipment manufacturers and specialty service companies. It will be free and open to the public for the first time from 12-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
The STC and its members will be donating a 16,000-square-foot soccer field to Haven for Hope on Monday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m., which marks the largest ever community service project in the STC’s 10-year history.
Meeting registration fees include access to the evening reception on Monday, all educational sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday and admission to the Exhibitor Showcase & Lunch on Tuesday afternoon. Registered attendees will also receive access to all available session handouts, including attendee and exhibitor lists.
