KCAC_logoAstroTurf announced a partnership agreement with the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC).  AstroTurf will become the new official synthetic turf provider of “The Kansas Conference.”

“We are delighted to be teaming up with AstroTurf,” said Dr. Scott Crawford, commissioner of the KCAC. “They are an organization with a tremendous history and a continuing commitment to innovation for the betterment of athletic competition. The outstanding performance, durability, and safety of their playing fields make AstroTurf an ideal fit for Official Synthetic Turf Provider of the KCAC.”

Tracing its roots back to 1890 and the first successful attempt at organization among Kansas colleges, the KCAC remains one of the oldest intercollegiate conferences in the country. The league consists of ten schools who compete in eighteen championship sports in cooperation with NAIA governance. KCAC member institutions include Bethany College, Bethel College, Friends University, Kansas Wesleyan University, McPherson College, Ottawa University, Southwestern College, Sterling College, Tabor College and the University of Saint Mary.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference,” said Bryan Peeples, president of AstroTurf. “They are certainly an organization that AstroTurf can get behind – one that prides itself on promoting higher education, athletic competition and doing things the right way. We are honored to be selected as the official synthetic turf provider of the KCAC.”
