PBI-Gordon Corporation’s Kabuto Fungicide SC is approved for purchase in the U.S., according to a news release from the company. Kabuto, a liquid formulation of the active ingredient isofetamid, is designed to provide preventive and curative dollar spot control.
“This is big news for PBI-Gordon and for the industry,” says Jim Goodrich, product manager for fungicides, insecticides and plant growth regulators at PBI-Gordon. “Dollar Spot is one of the most prevalent and expensive diseases in turf, and Kabuto gives lawn care professionals and golf course supers an effective new tool to fight it.”
