Planet Turf names new product representative

Planet Turf, a company specializing in turf and ornamental maintenance products and services, named Jeff Zoerner its product representative for Micronesia and Southeast Asia.

Zoerner of San Juan Capistrano, Calif., will be responsible for product sales and customer service. He has worked in the turf and horticultural supply business for more than 21 years and has a wealth of knowledge about the climate, people and business in the Pacific Rim.

“Jeff will contribute to Planet Turf’s long-term vision to continue its service to the Pacific Rim, including Micronesia, Guam, Saipan, Rota, Tinian, Japan, Korea and the Philippines,” says Jim Connolly, president of Planet Turf. “His track record of success and knowledge of the industry will provide a valuable asset to our company. I am pleased to have Jeff join our family.”

Zoerner received his Bachelor of Science Degree in agriculture and ornamental horticulture from California State University, Chico. Zoerner’s experience comes from many years of work in the golf, landscape and wholesale nursery business. According to the company, he found his love for the business at the age of 14, working as a caddy at the Golf Courses on the North Shore, Long Island, N.Y.
