Time-lapse video: Boise State’s blue field gets green grass makeover

July 15, 2015  - By

Boise State University’s renowned blue Astro Turf synthetic football field has been transitioned to green natural grass for the July 18 international soccer club match between Spain’s Athletic Bilbao and Mexico’s Club Tijuana. La Liga rules require a grass field for Bilbao, hence the switch-up.

The time-lapse video spans over six days of work. The field will be transitioned back to Astro Turf shortly after the match.
