Turf Reclamation Services announces hires

CINCINNATI—In response to a burgeoning industry demand for sustainable field reclamation services and a desire to expand their business offerings, Turf Reclamation Services (TRS) welcomes Bill Schomburg as one of the newest additions to their staff. Schomburg will take over the duties as field reclamation consultant, overseeing sales and operation efforts in the Central U.S.

Schomburg joins TRS with 15 years experience in artificial turf, most recently as owner and operator at WLS Consulting. Prior to that, Schomburg was a founding partner of AvTurf, where he was a named inventor of three patents regarding artificial turf use at airports. Schomburg also served as vice president of The Allsynthetic Group, an artificial turf sports installer, until 2008.

“Bill’s extensive industry experience gives him an appreciation for the critical issues surrounding field deconstruction and material reclamation. He will bring a practitioner’s perspective when delivering TRS services and selling its line of reclamation equipment,” says Mark Heinlein, president of TRS.

In addition, Sarah L. Shewmaker has joined TRS as a marketing development specialist, overseeing brand efforts and marketing initiatives for TRS to increase company awareness and product/service offerings.

Shewmaker joins TRS with 10 years’ experience in the specialty of marketing, most recently as senior marketing specialist at Shire Regenerative Medicine. Prior to that, Shewmaker served as the marketing sales coordinator at ARRK Product Development Group and marketing logistics coordinator at OneCommand.

“Sarah’s expertise in marketing and ability to recognize key areas of growth, will aid in continuing to position TRS as the national provider of artificial turf removal. Her experience in market development and client-focused nature, will allow for us to shine amongst others in the turf reclamation space,” Heinlein says.
