Underhill launches sprinkler removal tool

Underhill International has released Easy Out, a spray sprinkler removal tool that requires no digging. The tool fits all major brands and simplifies removal of 2-inch to 12-inch spray heads for repairs or modifications, the company announced in a news release.

Easy Out can be used to replace a broken sprinkler, add a fitting to increase height, cap off unwanted heads or convert heads to drip line. The Easy Out kit includes an alignment rod that prevents dirt from entering the piping system and a removal tool with a hex head at the bottom.

To use the tool, the cap and inside components must be removed, the alignment rod is inserted into the body, then the removal tool is placed over the rod and slides into the sprinkler. The tool is then rotated to remove or place the sprinkler.
