Amvac launches new website

Amvac Chemical Corp., a business unit of American Vanguard Corp., launched a new website named LoveYourTurf.com. The website provides information on the company’s turf fungicide portfolio.

The site features photos that show results for products such as Oreon, Autilus and Turfcide.

“We have an outstanding portfolio of products for the turf market and wanted to ensure we made it easy for our customers to find and review results obtained with our products,” said Jeff Alvis, business manager, Amvac Environmental Products. “This website also shows the dedication we have to connecting with turf professionals.”

In the past year, Amvac has introduced two new fungicides to the turf market—Oreon and Autilus. Both are FRAC Group 14 products that provide turf professionals tools for controlling disease and managing resistance.

Oreon fungicide is a combination of two active ingredients—PCNB and tebuconazole fungicides—each with a proven record of performance against a multitude of turf diseases. The water-based, flowable formulation offers improved turf safety compared to other PCNB products. Oreon provides broad-spectrum disease control and is the only premix product on the market that contains a FRAC Group 14 fungicide, Amvac said.

Turfcide fungicide provides control of important turf diseases, including snow mold and dollar spot. Available in both granular and liquid formulations, it provides protection from soil-borne diseases in greenhouses, shadehouses, nurseries, landscapes and field-grown ornamentals.
