The Cornell Turf Show, a series of weekly 30-minute webinars covering lawn and landscape, golf, sports and more, is back for its sixth season, bringing live turfgrass insights and expert discussions to audiences across the industry.

After starting March 28, the webinars will run through May 30, airing live every Friday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. EST. Interested viewers can register for free at the show’s sign-up webpage.

Hosted by Frank Rossi, Ph.D., associate professor of horticulture, and Carl Schimenti, urban environmental specialist, the Cornell Turf Show aims to deliver timely updates, expert analysis and insightful discussions with industry professionals. Each episode provides new information for turf managers, golf course superintendents, sports field professionals and lawn care specialists.

For those unable to join live, recordings of each show will be available on the Cornell Turfgrass YouTube channel, and episodes will also be accessible via the Turf Show Podcast. The show is known as “the fastest 30 minutes in turf” and draws hundreds of attendees each week, according to Jake Zajkowski, communications assistant for the Cornell Turfgrass Program.

The return of the show follows the Cornell Turfgrass Program’s recent expansion of its media resources ahead of the spring season. Part of this expansion includes the new weekly Cornell Clippings Podcast, hosted by Rossi and Schimenti, which will discuss new insights insights, expert advice and research-backed strategies to help transform turfgrass into a valuable, environmental asset.
