Central Turf & Irrigation adds new category director for fertilizer

Central Turf & Irrigation Supply welcomes Ryan Batz as its new turf category director for fertilizer. In this role, Central Turf says Batz will focus on strategic growth for the fertilizer program within the category.

“I’m excited to join the team,” Batz said. “I am eager to work with all the employees and partners of Central to provide superior service and solutions to our customers in the fertilizer category.”

Batz has six years of experience as the U.S. technical director for Ferti Technologies. He also brings 11 years of experience as a golf course superintendent — including three at Trump National Golf Club in Briarcliff Manor, N.Y. — and was a former owner and operator of a lawn care operation.
