John Deere recalls Gator due to crash hazard

September 16, 2019

John Deere announced a voluntary recall of its XUV835 Gator utility vehicles. The company says that due to improper routing, the plastic sheathing on the throttle cable can melt, causing the throttle to stick. This could result in the operator not being able to stop the vehicle, posing a crash hazard.

About 19,730 units were sold in the U.S. and about 840 were sold in Canada.
