KemperSports Venues welcomes new senior vice president
KemperSports recently hired Steve Goris as its new senior vice president of KemperSports Venues. KemperSports is a property and experience management company that manages more than 130 sports, leisure and event facilities and destination resorts in 27 states.
Goris will oversee the strategy, growth and operations for the company’s portfolio of youth sports and recreation facilities.
“From co-founding and running the largest indoor sports complex in North America to developing some of the country’s newest sports and entertainment venues, Steve’s experience will be a valuable differentiator as we build KemperSports Venues as an industry leader,” Steve Skinner, CEO of KemperSports, said.
Goris previously served as senior vice president of Vieste where he led the development of several sports and entertainment projects, including the soon-to-open Memphis Sports and Events Center. Prior to that, he served as vice president of planning and development for Sports Facility Management after co-founding and working as the chief operating officer of Spooky Nook Sports.
“I am honored and thrilled to have the opportunity to lead the KemperSports Venues team,” said Goris. “KemperSports has a long and storied history of driving excellence for its clients, and its ‘client first’ culture attracted me to this opportunity. This culture coupled with a depth of resources and expertise, which are unparalleled in the industry, will position our team to become the premier management company in youth and amateur sports.”
