Sports Turf Company promotes Jason Briscoe to COO

Sports Turf Company promoted Jason Briscoe from director of construction services to chief operations officer, recognizing the hard work, dedication and contributions Briscoe has shown to Sports Turf.

Briscoe has been a part of numerous projects from high school to collegiate level in the past six years. Some of his most notable projects include:

  • University of South Alabama’s Hancock Whitney Stadium
  • Carroll County Schools’ track and field renovations.
  • Gwinnett County Schools’ track and field renovations.
  • Richmond County Schools’ track and field renovations.
  • Fulton County Schools’ track and field renovations.

“Jason Briscoe has been a key part of our success over the past six years,” said Todd Wiggins, president of Sports Turf Company. “His dedication to our team and the clients we serve has been paramount to Sports Turf’s continued achievements.”

Prior to joining Sports Turf Company, Briscoe served in the U.S. Army for more than 20 years. According to the company, his previous experience in multiple key leadership roles while in service has given him a wealth of knowledge in team development, project management and strategic planning that has been vital to Sports Turf’s continued success.

Briscoe’s new position will see him be directly responsible for spearheading the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes, while leading a high-performing management team.
