Life Remodeled Nonprofit breaks ground on
Detroit school’s new football field

Detroit Lions to donate goal posts
Nonprofit organization Life Remodeled broke ground on construction of a new football field for Detroit's Cody High School on July 11. The Detroit Lions will donate goal posts as part of a plan by Life Remodeled to renovate the school and its surrounding neighborhood this summer.

The Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) and The Toro Co. are honoring three students with the Dr. James R. Watson Legacy Scholarship. The award is a special, one-time scholarship funded by The Toro Giving Program in celebration of the company’s centennial this month as well as STMA’s SAFE Foundation.

Members from the New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association (NJLCA) teamed up to renovate the Charles Mastik Memorial Field July 11-12 in Little Ferry, N.J. The community field had not been maintained well and was flooded during Hurricane Sandy.

Terminus, a cable-pulled wake park at LakePoint Sporting Community & Town Center Complex in Emerson, Ga., installed a HydroTurf system by Watershed Geosynthetics. The synthetic turf system was installed around the banks and shorelines.
