Project EverGreen has completed its latest “Healthy Turf. Healthy Kids.” project with weed removal, soil aeration and fertilizer applications to the baseball and softball fields at Fair Oaks Park in Marietta, Ga. The renovated fields are used by nearly 5,000 local residents of all ages.

Greenfields USA Greenfields installs first all-blue field
Greenfields USA has installed its first navy blue field at The Vanguard School in Colorado Springs, Colo., which was recently ranked the 16th “Top Academic High School in America” by Newsweek. Academy Sports Turf installed the GreenFields SlideMax XP synthetic turf system.

Hunter Hunter to buy Senninger Irrigation
Hunter Industries intends to buy Senninger Irrigation, and the manufacturers have entered into their due diligence phase. The due diligence phase is expected to be completed by mid-September. The two companies have been strategic partners since 2004.

Anuvia Plant Nutrients, a new plant nutrient company to be headquartered in Zellwood, Fla., has hired Amy Yoder as its CEO. Yoder comes to Anuvia from Arysta LifeScience North America where she served as president and CEO for several years.
