AstroTurf installs 3D3-60 field at University of Missouri football practice facility

 

AstroTurf recently installed a 3D3-60 AstroTurf Field System at the University of Missouri’s Stephens Indoor Facility. Mid-America Sports Construction, a regional AstroTurf distributor, installed the system.

The turf system features nylon fibers and a Brock Powerbase Pro Pad, providing a combination of firmness and shock absorption, according to the company.

“With the installation of the 3D3-60 AstroTurf Field System, we’re confident that Mizzou’s athletes will have a more consistent and overall superior turf system to practice on,” Curtis Wilson, a regional manager for AstroTurf, said.

AstroTurf says the new system will help reduce the risk of injuries, because of the Brock Powerbase Pro Pad’s shock absorption.
