Companies merge to form ICL Specialty Fertilizers
Everris, Fuentes, Nu3, Novapeak and F&C merged to form ICL Specialty Fertilizers, whose turf and amenity brand serves golf courses, sports fields, sod production and municipal landscaping, among others.
The newly formed company is dedicated to meeting the needs of its customers in three segments: ornamental horticulture, specialty agriculture and turf & amenity. According to the company, the merger resulted in an expanded product portfolio and stronger emphasis on innovation and product development that will provide customers with enhanced service.
In addition, the company expanded its research capabilities in its laboratories and in the field. ICL Specialty Fertilizers recently launched the development of new nutrient efficiency technologies and growth enhancers, said Karl Mielke, CEO of ICL Specialty Fertilizers.
“We have put together a specific team of experienced agronomists to test our new technologies more extensively and faster in the field based on the different soil types and climates across the globe,” said Mielke. “In the ornamental horticulture and turf & amenity markets, we are committed to having a clear integrated plant and turf management approach and to supporting the growers and turf end users with a comprehensive portfolio of solutions.”
According to ICL, its resources, with the support of its innovation division, have been pooled together to develop new products and technologies that make grass, plants and crops grow greener, stronger and healthier.
“ICL Specialty Fertilizers is proud to have both technology partners and dedicated and strong distributor partners in each specific market,” said Mielke. “We work together to present our innovations and grower solutions.”
