FieldTurf to install new turf at the University of Wyoming’s War Memorial Stadium

FieldTurf will install a new Vertex CORE surface at the University of Wyoming’s Jonah Field at War Memorial Stadium this summer.

The Vertex CORE system is War Memorial Stadium’s second consecutive FieldTurf surface, following an initial collaboration between the school and FieldTurf in 2013.

The new turf will feature two FieldTurf fibers, the Classic HD slit-film fiber and the CORE monofilament super fiber, designed to provide increased agility, durability and aesthetics.

“We are very proud of the branding opportunity that Jonah Field has provided us over the last decade,” Tom Burman, director of athletics at the University of Wyoming, said. “We are looking forward to seeing the upgraded field installed this summer. Our relationship with FieldTurf has been a great partnership through the years, and we are pleased to continue that relationship with this new field in War Memorial Stadium.”
