Host city chosen for 2022 STMA Conference and Exhbition

The Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) has selected Savannah, Ga., as the host city of the 2022 STMA Conference and Exhibition.

STMA’s 33rd Annual Conference & Exhibition will be held January 17-20, 2022. Registration opens on October 2021. Please visit the STMA Conference page for more information.

The Savannah Convention Center is a quick ferry ride from the Downtown Historic District, which boasts restaurants, rooftop bars, and breweries, all dripping in Spanish moss.

After conference sessions conclude, gather a group of friends and sample some fried green tomatoes, extra crispy fried chicken, and Southern BBQ, then wash it all down with Savannah’s signature drink, Chatham Artillery Punch.

Within the Historic District, attendees can visit Forsyth Park, walk the River Market, visit museums and landmarks all while eating some locally made ice cream. Tybee Island can be reached by trolly in about 20 minutes. Once there, you can watch dolphins, go fishing and look for seashells.
