Keynote presenter for 2019 conference revealed

The Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) announced that the keynote presenter for the 30th annual Conference will be Jeff McManus.

As the director of Landscape Services at the University of Mississippi, McManus grows plants and people.

McManus will be presenting “How to Grow Weeders into Leaders.”

Attendees will

• • identify strategies for “leading by example” in the workplace;
  • learn the personal and organizational value of cultivating a culture of resiliency – to adapt and overcome – when managing problem employees; and
  • learn to utilize communication strategies in the workplace in order to develop a culture of trust resulting in a “growth” environment.
