STC to host free webinar on synthetic turf performance guidelines, testing methods

The Synthetic Turf Council (STC) will host a free, live webinar on the performance guidelines and testing methods for synthetic turf sports fields on Wednesday, July 9 at 1 p.m. EST.

Four expert panelists within the synthetic turf industry will cover topics about the current market for the industry, STC’s performance guidelines and different testing methods and recommended frequencies for fields.

Panelists for the webinar include:

• Craig Honkomp, principal, Sportsworks Field Design, who will serve as the moderator for the webinar;
• John Baize, president, Act Global, who will present the market update and industry report as well as the STC’s Performance Guidelines;
• Alastair Cox, deputy group director, Labosport International, United Kingdom; and
• Matt Asbury, managing director, Labosport International, United States, who will present “how-to” videos on testing methods for synthetic turf sports fields.

Before the webinar, attendees can submit questions via Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn. There will also be a Q&A session at the conclusion of the webinar.
