STMA partners with Green Sports Alliance Summit

The Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) has been named a community partner of the Green Sports Alliance Summit for the seventh year.

The annual summit will be held in Philadelphia at the LEED Gold Certified Lincoln Financial Field June 19-20. The event is the largest gathering for the sports community to unite around sustainability. It brings together hundreds of industry stakeholders to learn and share better practices and the latest innovations in greening operations, advancing the supply chain and engaging fans.

The theme for this year is “Playing for the Next Generation.” Workshops will focus on how to harness the immense sports industry to make changes for greener fields and stadiums, and healthier cities and communities. Throughout the two-day event, attendees will gain insights and inspiration as they join hundreds of sports, sustainability and brand professionals in a collaborative setting to engage in problem-solving, skill-building workshops to reduct their overall impact.

Attendees will also hear from speakers — including athletes, team leaders and sponsors — on everything from how to transform supply chains to engaging fans and communities in being part of the many solutions alongside their favorite teams.
