STMA to conduct field rebuild prior to 2020 conference

The Sports Turf Managers Association (STMA) conducted its first field rebuild in conjunction with its annual conference this year in Phoenix, with copartner Project EverGreen.

More than 100 members and community participants came to Lindo Park to rebuild the baseball field and improve the park.

A field rebuild is planned for Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020 from 1-6 p.m. in the West Palm Beach, Fla., area. All equipment, materials and transportation will be provided. STMA does require those interested to preregister, sign a liability form and wear closed-toed shoes to participate. Registration will open Oct. 1.

Project EverGreen and local STMA members are reviewing potential locations for the 2020 rebuild and the final selection will be announced this fall.
