Syngenta unveils new turf care program

GREENSBORO, NC — A new simplified year-long purchase program now available from Syngenta Lawn & Garden is designed to provide maximum flexibility to professional lawn care operators and sod growers.

The Syngenta GreenTrust 365 Purchase Program, effective Oct. 1, 2009, will provide incentives through September 2010, with additional bonuses for purchases made through Feb. 26, 2010. In addition to the GreenTrust 365 incentives, Syngenta is placing an emphasis on such products as Barricade herbicide, Heritage G fungicide and Meridian insecticide.

“We’ve listened to our customers and created a year-long incentive program that provides the best opportunity for Syngenta product users to take advantage of our proven brands and obtain great value at the same time,” said Scott Valentine, marketing services manager, Syngenta Lawn & Garden. “More importantly, the new program is easy to understand, with greater flexibility to make purchases when desired and still earn significant rebates during these uncertain economic times.”

Key elements of the GreenTrust 365 plan include:

  • A program offering incentives on purchases made throughout the year, with additional bonuses on purchases during the early order period;
  • Consistent year-long pricing; and
  • The minimum purchase qualification is now $5,000, with no brand requirement
