A recent report from NBC News has once again placed artificial turf in the crosshairs. On Oct. 8, NBC News reported that 38 soccer players across the United States who have played on artificial turf have been diagnosed with cancer.

opens ‘Grass Roots’ exhibit

New board of directors presented at STC Annual Meeting

During the Synthetic Turf Council’s (STC) Annual Membership Meeting in San Antonio Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, the association presented its new board of directors elected by the members. Robert Thomas, president of ProGrass LLC, is chairman of the 220-member organization’s board.
