Textron to relocate Jacobsen production to UK facility

Textron Specialized Vehicles, a Textron company, will relocate all manufacturing of Jacobsen professional turf equipment to its facility in Ipswich, U.K. The move will begin this fall and be completed in stages over the next several months. Learn more here.

Engineered Turf joins the Recreational Group

The Recreational Group has acquired Engineered Turf, a manufacturer of synthetic grass used in sport and putting green applications. Read more about the deal here.

First artificial turf field made of recyclable plastic installed

Ranney School in Tinton Falls, N.J., is the first facility in the U.S. to install the Power System from Elite Turf, powered by Act Global. The Power System is an eco-friendly turf system that is 100 percent recyclable.

RISE virtual meeting includes 30-year celebration

Responsible Industry for a Sound Environment (RISE) held its first-ever virtual annual meeting Aug. 24-26. It coincided with the Washington, D.C.-based association’s 30th anniversary, focused on the launch of the 2021-2026 RISE Strategic Plan and featured leaders in the specialty pesticide and fertilizer industry.
